SMART PRODUCT DESIGN 4.0 MASTER

Training represents a fundamental element in the history of Olivetti, today on an evolutionary path distinguished by the elements of technological excellence and design excellence while based on the essential concept of human centricity.

Olivetti is protagonist of initiatives such as the “SMART PRODUCT DESIGN 4.0” master course. A training course offered by the Scuola di Master e Formazione Permanente of Turin Polytechnic, promoted by Confindustria Canavese, having as its aim the insertion of 12 young new graduates within the company.

The training period, covering 24 months, explores themes relating to the technologies and methodologies for designing and developing intelligent products - Smart Products. These have the capacity to exploit fully the most up-to-date potentialities of sensors, ICT technologies, data analysis and product innovation methodologies typical of complex products and company process management. All this, following the logic of collaboration, typical of the digital revolution and Industry 4.0, so as to guarantee a process of continuous innovation.

IVREA PATRIMONY OF HUMANITY

On 2nd July 2018 Ivrea, the city which saw the birth of Olivetti 110 years ago, was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List, recognising its modern vision of the relationship between industry and architecture that developed from the 1930s to the 1960s.
