RED DA
The European Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU (RED) defines a regulatory framework for the placing of radio equipment on the market, establishing essential requirements for safety and health, electromagnetic compatibility, and efficient use of the radio spectrum.
It also forms the basis for additional regulations governing certain aspects such as technical features for the protection of privacy, personal data, and fraud prevention, interoperability, access to emergency services, and compliance related to the combination of radio equipment and software.
In this context, the delegated act (RED DA) on cybersecurity is set to enter into force on August 1, 2025.
In response to RED-DA compliance requirements, the updated Olivetti Product Security Guidelines are available, which include:
- configuring your device on a secure network protected by a firewall
- resetting the product’s administrator passwords
- using the IP filtering tool to restrict IP addresses that can access the product
- closing unused logical ports
