Olivetti exhibits latest-generation Gaming solutions

Budapest, 21 May 2007 – Olivetti, the Telecom Italia Group company active in the information & communications technology sector, is taking part in the 4th Congress of the European State Lottery and Toto Association (EL), at the Budapest World Trade Centre from 21 – 24 May.

Visitors to the Olivetti stand will see the company’s leading-edge solutions for gaming and lottery automation. Technological know-how and secure data management provide the basis for a flexible offer geared to modern automation and gaming requirements.

The top worldwide players in Europe, South America and India have already chosen Olivetti terminals and technology, acknowledging the Italian company as a partner of excellence in this field.

At the 2007 EL Congress, Olivetti is presenting the most comprehensive range of terminals for gaming agencies and points of sale: devices on exhibit include the compact MAEL 205, with more than 30,000 installations around the world, the new MAEL 105 portable terminal, the MAEL 370/E terminal with ink-jet or thermal printer and, previewed in Budapest, the Explor@300 modular betting terminal equipped with the MAEL 400 card and document reader and the high-speed two-colour PRT100 thermal printer.

Visitors at the Budapest exhibition will also see the MAEL 501 terminals for video-lotteries and self-service gaming in bars, pubs and amusement arcades, which support a wide variety of forms of payment, and the very latest MAEL 505, an AWP terminal making its European debut in Budapest.
